I am excited to be returning to the River Glen swimming legacy this season! I began swimming when I was 7 years old, with many years of training I qualified and competed nationally with the Riviera Swim Team. I had the honor and challenge of completing my career with four years on the Indiana University Varsity Women’s Swim team! I have dabbled in Master’s swimming a bit and enjoyed it greatly, I am hoping to get back to it once again someday! I have been teaching or coaching swimming since I was 12 (nearly 30 years now!) I have had the opportunity and honor to work with many levels of swimmers including those fearful of putting their face in the water, to the collegiate student athlete looking for technique improvement, and every level in between. I continue to teach one night a week at a local swim center and was excited to resume my coaching last season with their summer swim team. In my free time, I work as a marketing freelancer with a variety of local businesses. My husband and I have three children, Anna 17, Cameron 14 and Evelyn 9. Our family has two dogs, Roscoe (a portuguese water dog) and Maisy, (a rescue mini goldendoodle) and a cat named Twix. I enjoy sewing, reading, walking, thrifting and the occasional binge of a good tv series! I believe that swimming is truly a sport that anyone can enjoy long into their aging years! I am excited to being a part of the River Glen swim program and summer experience for all families and I look forward to getting to know you!
