Swim a Lap, Raise a Roof!!!

That is our slogan for this years Fundraiser - which will be this Friday, June 23rd right after team practice.

River Glen Electric Eels swim for the families of Nicaragua!

Most families in Nicaragua live in deplorable conditions. Homes made out of rice bags and tar paper are not uncommon. Nicaraguans are hard working faithful people who want nothing more than to care for their families. Corrupt government makes this difficult as they suppress the population for control over the people. Many Nicaraguans struggle to feed, cloth, and house their families. Unlike the United States, the Nicaraguan government does not assist with the poor.

Our goal is to raise money to build a house for a Nicaraguan family in need. The funds will support Kingdom Building Missions, a 501c3 organization.

Swimmers are asked to swim laps to raise money. In the past we have seen anywhere from $.10 per lap to $1 per lap! Any donation is appreciated! Monies can be collected that day - or up until next Friday, July 1st.  There will be lanes of the pool open for swimming the entire day until the last swimmer gets out.

Everyone is welcome to participate, parents, too! Donuts and juice will be available for ultimate energy!

Thanks for considering participating!
