Parents….   It’s your turn to step up now….  As you can imagine - Swim Team could NOT operate without the help from Parent Volunteers….  Over the past couple of years we’ve seen a dramatic drop off in Parents Helping out - and there have been times when the Coaches and Team Mom’s have had to go Begging parents on deck (and even at the Invitational where River Glen was the only team that didn’t have their fair share of volunteers show up and they couldn’t start the meet with out the volunteers) because we didn’t have enough timers, clerks of course or whatever job was not signed up for..  It’s very embarrassing when we have to do last minute recruiting from the viewing audience…. This is why we have implemented the $100 fee if you do not sign up for a position for your family.  We will be reviewing this at the end of the week.  

SO…. YOU can be the parents that turn this ship around…. Volunteering is very easy and if you don’t think you know what to do - the Team Mom’s, Coaches can easily explain the positions - BUT we need people to SIGN UP (AND SHOW UP) for the positions… 

To sign up - just go to our website and click on the schedule - find the next meet (which is tomorrow night against Windermere at home), click on the Green button to the right and sign up for a position.  Each meet has specific positions available except the Invitational has just general positions or morning and afternoon as we do not know what positions are assigned to us yet.  So for the invitation, you can just sign up for a morning or afternoon session and we will know closer to the Invitational what positions we can fit you into.

We truly appreciate all the volunteers that have already signed up and hope to see them filled up later this evening for tomorrow’s meet and then the Coaches can concentrate on coaching instead of having to find volunteers.
